Where To Try These New and Exciting Food Trends in the Mother City

There are so many different cuisines to explore in the Mother City - this place is truly a foodie hub like no other! With loads of new and really exciting food trends currently taking Cape Town by storm, there's no better time then now to challenge those tastebuds and try something different. Read on to learn more about these food trends and where exactly they can be enjoyed.


1 - Mochi


Mochi is a super unique sweet treat made from glutinous rice. This Japanese bun-shaped dessert has an impressively soft and chewy texture that can be enjoyed in a whole bunch of different flavours.

2 - Sushi Burrito


The Sushi Burrito is a jumbo sized burrito (obvs) made with classic sushi flavours and textures. This is defs not an authentic Asian dish but was rather an idea that took off in the USA and has since became a total global foodie hit.

6 - Bubble Tea
