The Oscars 2022: Winner's List
Updated: Aug 22, 2022
The Academy Awards, more popularly known as ‘The Oscars’, is one of Hollywood’s most looked forward to events on the annual calendar. Loads of hype and excitement built up to this year’s ceremony in particular, due to a really strong group of nominees that had been selected across various award categories.
After three years of disruptions because of the pandemic, the Oscar’s has not been the usual vibey occasion that it once was. The event has gone ahead without an actual host for all this time and in a mostly virtual set-up. This added to the huge anticipation around the 2022 edition, which was hosted by 3 fabulous females in: Regina Hall, Amy Schumer and Wanda Sykes.
It’s gotta be said, what’s a celebrity awards ceremony without the fabulous (and not so fabulous) red carpet outfits to go with it?! Not to mention the epic speeches, live performances and, above all, watching all of our fav stars in one room celebrating each other to the max! It's safe to say that we LOVED seeing the occasion back to its usual self.
