New Food Spots Opening Soon at the V&A Waterfront
The V&A Waterfront is a total foodie haven! The shopping mall has always been home to many different restaurant offerings and culinary attractions. It's set to see a lil reshuffle in the nearby future as a few exciting restaurants plan to enter the fray. Read on to find out a bit more about these upcoming additions...
1. Tang
Tang is an Asian luxury restaurant that offers a dining experience inspired by contemporary Japanese cuisine and the classic Cantonese eateries of Hong Kong. The restaurant has a branch at Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton which has been in operation since May of 2021. This high end food spot is known to serve the most flavourful dishes that has everyone coming back for more! It has set sights on the Mother City and is opening its V&A Waterfront location some time during the season of spring.
2. Mythos
Mythos Restaurant is an authentic Greek restaurant that is known for its traditional Mediterranean cuisine. This family run restaurant chain has a number of branches in Gauteng with a huge community of foodie fans! Making its mark on the Mother City, Mythos will soon be found at the V&A Waterfront serving up all the best in Greek cuisine!
3. Belthazar
A restaurant that is no stranger to the V&A Waterfront, is the lovely multi-purpose restaurant and grill, Belthazar. This lovely eatery was sadly forced to shut its doors as a result of struggles relating to the pandemic back in 2020. They‘ll be back in business on 1st November to serve up their notorious wine selection, export quality beef and the most authentic local game around.
4. Paul
Paul is a French, family-owned artisanal patisserie and restaurant that dates back to 1889. They offer an unapologetically French flair from breakfast right through to dinner and also create the most delish pastries and desserts. Found in over 47 countries around the world, this is a flagship location that is set to join the already impressive V&A Waterfront food offering (no complaints here!).
