Harry Styles Eyes a Return to the Big Screen

Harry Styles is a complete natural when it comes to the music scene, but the former One Direction member is about to prove that he has equal measures of acting talent as he takes on a role in Olivia Wilde’s upcoming film, ‘Don’t Worry Darling’. The movie is set to release in cinemas in the month of September and all eyes are sure to be on Mr Watermelon Sugar himself. The star had not initially planned to be part of this big screen production, but when actor Shia LaBeouf pulled out of the job, Harry Styles was agreed to be a super worthy replacement.

‘Don’t Worry Darling’ is a psychological thriller that is set in the 1950’s. It follows the story of a housewife living in a utopian world that turns out to have disturbing underlying secrets which come to be known. Harry Styles plays the role of her husband who proves to be playing a part in this dark reality.

It’s not the singer’s first ever acting role, as he’s already provided an impressive display in the 2017 war film ‘Dunkirk’. Olivia Wilde recently exclaimed her immense excitement for Harry’s involvement in her upcoming movie production. His appreciation for fashion is believed to make him a perfect match for this movie which is said to be incredibly stylistic and aesthetically focused.

This promises to be a super entertaining piece of work which we are defs gonna watch! Luckily we don’t have to wait too long for the 23rd September, which is when it comes to South African movie theatres.
