Excitement Builds For Rocking The Daisies 2022

One of South Africa’s most anticipated outdoor music festivals, Rocking The Daisies, is officially back with a 2022 edition and the local scene is buzzing. Due to the pandemic, the live music scene has been put on hold for a very long time. Rocking The Daisies itself, has not taken place for a whole two years! This means that locals are itching for a boogie like never before, as the recent ticket sales certainly confirmed. Tickets for the event became available to purchase on Thursday 26th May, after which both phase 1 and phase 2 tickets were sold out within a couple of hours. The event has thankfully hinted at the release of more tickets in the near future, so it's not too late to join in on what is sure to be an epic occasion.

Excitement levels went through the roof earlier this week when popular electronic music group, Clean Bandit, were announced as headline acts for the 2022 festival. The crazy news was soon followed up by the confirmation that R&B singer, Kehlani, is also set to take to the stage. The hype circling around social media has made it clear that these international artists have tons of fans over here in SA. These world famous names will be performing alongside the greatest local talent including: Matthew Mole, Nasty C, Sun El Musician and many more. The event organizers have made the decision to dedicate a large part of this year’s affair to the local music scene which has suffered big time as a result of the pandemic.
