Brand New Restaurants in Cape Town
Cape Town's food scene is worth endless amounts of praise. There is culinary magic in every corner of the city and this isn't something that's set to change any time soon. Of course everyone has their go-to spot for a solid dining experience, but, new foodie introductions are also always welcomed with open arms. Without further ado, let's introduce some brand new restaurants in Cape Town which have only recently begun trading on local shores.
1 - Boma On Bree
This brand new desert-themed restaurant and cocktail bar is bringing the heat to the Mother CIty! Boma on Bree is a vibrant hangout that offers a warm atmosphere made up of dark orange tones and a fiery energy. Located in the space that was previously held by La Parada, this powerhouse of a spot is where good food and good vibes collide in the best way possible. The wide variety of groovy music adds to what is, without a doubt, a full circle experience. Do keep in mind that this venue only caters for guests of 25 years old and above.
2 - Thava
Thava is a celebration of true Indian cuisine. The unique Indian tapas offering means that guests can try out a bit of everything and enjoy a full table of dishes without any selection headache! Hop on over to the Grand West to enjoy this fantastic flavour infusion and a half. All the classic dishes of your dreams are available to order! 3 - Mamacitas
Mexican street food, tequila and cocktails is the main focus at the all new Mamacitas in Cape Town’s city centre. Inspired by the amazing street food of downtown Los Angeles, this Tex-Mex celebration cuts no corners! Expansive is an understatement when it comes to the cocktail and beverage variety on offer. 5 - Zuney
Zuney Wagyu is an expert in the hamburger game! Set up in the bustling location of Kloof Street, this spot is known for serving up the juiciest, tastiest and most unforgettable burger around. The small-scale restaurant experience initially began trading back in 2014 in the Eastern Cape. Local burger lovers have since given these pros their stamp of approval. Look no further for a flavour-packed burger that’s been prepared with passion, patience and maximum sustainability. With resources harvested from their very own farm in the Eastern Cape, this burger boss truly knows and does it all!
