Adding to this perfection, is a glass of wine that is expertly paired with each plate of food to bring out the very best flavours. Based in Wale Street in the city centre, this is an experience for the books.

The Mount Nelson has recently become home to restaurant royalty with the opening of The Red Room. This spot heroes pan-Asian small plates in a dimmed red light setting that is sure to transport you straight to the East. Sink into a cosy red velvet booth and sip on some mighty fine cocktails all evening long or opt for a corner in the super suave dining room to enjoy a four course sharing menu. All the best Asian dishes are there for the taking including: Korean BBQ steamed buns, dumplings, marinated tofu and more! This is a special space that delivers an all stellar foodie adventure.

A new cute cafe-style restaurant has just opened its doors in the Mother City and its name is Honey and Dora. Offering brekkie, lunch and dinner options - this lovely De Waterkant based venue is a foodie addition that you never knew you needed. As night time comes around, the space turns into a total social affair with good music and a super special vibe. Rumour has it they have great vegan and vegetarian menu items too!
