Brand New Bars in the Mother City

Cape Town summer is not far away from reclaiming its throne! As the weather warms up, so does the festive spirit...and what better way to get festive, than by visiting these four brand new bars in the Mother City. Let us introduce you to:


1 - Rita’s Cocktail Club


A brand new beverage institution has opened up its doors on the bustling Kloof Street and Rita’s Cocktail Club is thy name. Serving up amazing drinks in a vibrant rooftop setting, this spot knows how to host a good time. Every night is a celebration over here with live DJ acts on the regular and a social butterfly kinda energy. Open on Tuesday to Saturday from 4:30pm until 2am - the vibes are there for the taking. Unwind and enjoy some quality cocktails in this urban hideout that promises insane views that add to a memorable experience.



2 - The Tiki Tomb


A tropical island paradise in the heart of the Mother City…that sounds like an offer that’s tough to turn down! The Tiki Tomb is yet another addition to The Firm Hospitality Group who are drivers of some fab go-to hangouts such as: Harringtons, District, The Village Idiot and so many more. With that being said, this new addition represents something totally different. Escape to a Hawaiian inspired atmosphere with all the decor to make for a hula of a time. Open from 5pm until late, it’s a spot that is sure to become your new fav venue this summer!




3 - Club Tai Pan


Another shining light in the Cape Town city centre is the newly revamped SGT Pepper, now known as Club Tai Pan. Hosting your special night out on the town, this Long Street-based nightclub is new, refreshed and back to its absolute best. Enjoy student nights, live sports screenings, DJ’s - and of course, all the food and drink to fuel the occasion. Beer and pizza is and always will be their speciality. Don’t walk…run to this fab new spot for a reliably solid time with your gang. Do be aware that the venue is closed on Mondays.



4 - Aperitif


Your brand new neighbourhood bar, Aperitif, is here to put out all the stops! Hailing out of the mighty fine Bree Street, this location is sure to help you cheers to good times in the most suave way ever. Serving aperitivo classics with a spread of tasty snacks, say hello to your new cute and ultra classy hangout. The laid back setting makes for a lovely little after work drinks which can be elevated with a delish spread of: bruschetta, chips, dips and olives of your dreams. Need we say more.
