A Visit To Yen's Vietnamese Street Food

If you haven’t ever tried Vietnamese cuisine, you are missing out! Don’t fret though, a little visit to Yen’s Vietnamese Street Food is all you need to become an absolute fan of note. Located in the arty area of De Waterkant, this spot is a serious foodie haven that offers traditional Vietnamese dishes that are both light and fresh and perfect for any kinda weather.

Yen’s originally started out (and continues to operate) as a food stall at the Oranjezicht Market. Due to Cape Town foodies showing insane amounts of love towards their food, they recently made the decision to open up a restaurant of their own and it is a 10/10.

Enjoy flavourful stir fry, crispy spring rolls and super hearty Vietnamese soup (called Pho) while dining in a fabulously decorated space with all the finishings to transport you straight to Vietnam. The food is next level, the service is fab and the atmosphere is oh-so happy and bright. Yen’s also offers an amazing food catering service which is sure to elevate any-and-every event!

Be sure to visit this new find to experience a flavour explosion like no other. Who knows, maybe you’ll even be lucky enough to meet the super friendly foodie mastermind herself, the one and only, Yen.
