A Visit To Sweetwell Restaurant

Stellenbosch is notorious for some super special wine farms with a food and drink offering that dreams are made of! They honestly make for one of the best outings under the sun. We recently headed over to wine farm country for a little outing ourselves and we found an absolute gem of a spot. This quaint little farm restaurant now holds a totally special place in our hearts, introducing Sweetwell Restaurant.

Nestled on a cute pasture of land just off the highway between the Cape Garden Centre and Cavalli Wine Estate, Sweetwell is a beautiful family friendly restaurant that offers the warmest welcome. The luscious garden is one of the most gorg things we’ve ever seen and the interior decor simply follows suit! The rich vintage accessories, chandeliers, grand fireplace and overall sweet setting sets this place apart from the rest. It’s a homely vibe like no other - it is absolute restaurant heaven!

Sweetwell is a quick, reliable and ultra cosy spot to stop the next time you journey to Stellenbosch. It’s got a lovely breakfast and lunch offering along with delicious cakes, good coffee and even high tea! With both indoor and outdoor seating on a beautiful veranda - this venue is a go-to hangout any time of the year.

On the same premises as Sweetwell Restaurant is an incredibly cute crystal store which sells all kinds of yoga, meditation and healing accessories. There is also a cute little farm stall that has antique kitchen crockery and cute gifting items available for purchase.

We are absolutely in love with this peaceful and super down-to-earth location! It’s certainly going to go on our list of must visits the next time the Winelands are on the agenda. Do yourself a favour and try it out. The next time a road trip is calling your name or when you’re on route to Stellies itself - you know just the place to visit for a quick bite to eat.
