A Visit To Lello's

A trip to Italy is never complete without a long foodie checklist! From pizza, pasta and gelato to panini’s, coffee and tiramisu - there are so many culinary highlights that you’ve gotta witness for yourself. However, If a trip to Europe is not currently on the cards, fear not…because Lello’s Deli is here to ensure that your foodie senses are satisfied to the max.

This family-run artisanal Italian deli and cafe is a total masterclass. Not only can one enjoy the finest and most authentic dishes, but a real rustic setting to go along with it! Cobblestoned streets, charming architecture and a super warm and welcoming aura - this is where it's at!

It’s important to note that Lellos’ offering is separated into two different locations that are just a stone throw away from each other. The deli and food store is tucked away on De Vos Street which is a little lane just off Strand Street. This is the place to visit if you’re looking to stock up on some pantry staples and grab some amazing cooking supplies. If you’re looking for a foodie indulgence however…then the cafè is certainly the place to go! Located on Jarvis Street (around the back of the Cape Quarter) - head on over for a small but delicious food offering which has local foodies coming back time and time again.

Munch on a superb panini sandwich with flavour-packed fillings and/or try out some delectable cornetti pastries. Wash it all down with a cappuccino or decadent hot chocolate because why not!? We have been totally won over by this mini Italy and are one hundred percent sure that you will be too!
