Every visit to Stellenbosch serves as a strong reminder of the town’s oh-so charming setting. The quaint little streets lined with one restaurant after-the-next defs gives off a European type energy and we’re totally here for it! Talking about Europe, we paid a visit to a restaurant called Hygge Hygge during our time over there. It’s an amazing place that goes super highly recommended and is inspired by the European country of Denmark.

Denmark is known to be one of the happiest countries in the world and the word ‘hygge’ (pronounced hoo-gah) is recognised by many as the magic ingredient to this happiness. The laidback Stellenbosch-based restaurant that goes by this term, totally embraces the idea of joy and encourages a happy atmosphere with love, laughter, and of course, FOOD.

Located on Church Street, Hygge Hygge is an eatery that offers a lovely menu variety with café-style meal options.
