A Visit To Bosphorus

With so many different cuisines and food styles, it can be easy to overlook some really special dining options that are on offer in this special place we call Cape Town. Bosphorus is one such restaurant which goes strictly underrated and we're here to help change that!

This venue’s name is inspired by the Bosphorus water channel that runs through the country of Turkey, and therefore, no guesses that this restaurant specialises in Turkish cuisine! Serving up only the best and most authentic dishes in an equally authentic setting, this place has just gotta be added to your restaurant shortlist!

Bosphorus is a quaint little space situated on the ever-so-popular Bree Street in the city centre. This family- run eatery offers both indoor and outdoor seating options, making it a great hangout for any kinda weather. Although main meals are certainly part of the menu offering, it’s encouraged to try out an assortment of their delicious traditional mezze platters and side dishes upon your visit. These incredible plates combine to create a shared Middle Eastern feast made up of new and unfamiliar flavours. If you happen to be feeling extra experimental, try out the one-of-a-kind Turkish street food ‘pida’ (pizza) special.

Bosphorus promises an amazing dining experience with a difference - it’s a foodie adventure that, without a doubt, will take your tastebuds places! The simplistic setting is complemented by some totally flavour-packed food items that will have you feeling sorry you hadn’t been there before!
